Awards Series

The SEC's annual awards program was an opportunity most agencies treated as an internal formality. I saw it differently. Rather than producing standard event-driven award videos, I proposed a documentary-focused approach centered on the people behind the work — highlighting employees making meaningful contributions in their local communities through volunteerism, mentorship, and outreach. We traveled to regional offices across the country, capturing authentic interviews and observational footage that elevated internal recognition into evergreen storytelling. The series earned an internal agency award and was personally acknowledged by the Chair of the SEC.
